The project is located in the core area of the SCO Demonstration Zone in Jiaozhou, Qingdao (south of Changjiang Road, east of Zhongjiao Avenue, and north of Ruyi Lake). Ruyi Lake Commercial Complex project is the key implementation project of SCO Demonstration Zone in 2022.
The project is undertaken by China Construction Eighth Bureau Development and Construction Co., Ltd., with a construction area of about 150,000 square meters . It will highlight the bearing and display functions of the core area of the SCO Demonstration Zone. The exhibition area for exchanges and cooperation in various fields between SCO fully integrates “SCO elements”, displays the characteristics of SCO local economic and trade cooperation, and builds a commercial complex integrating exhibitions, conferences, events, commerce and other formats.
In the future, it will focus on amplifying the effect of hosting conferences, further improving the urban functions, services and quality of the demonstration area, play a leading role, attract more SCO resources and key projects to gather in the demonstration area, become a functional carrier with an international perspective, and further enhance the demonstration area.
The influence and competitiveness of the zone will help the demonstration zone to build a new platform for international cooperation along the “Belt and Road”.
